Owner review: Tudor Black Bay Chrono M79360N

Tudor Black Bay Chrono

I have always loved the look of the original Paul Newman Daytona, that is why I was so excited when the Tudor Black Bay Chrono M79360N was released in 2021. I contacted my authorized dealer right away and ordered one, it took a while for the watch to arrive but in this case, the wait was well worth it.

Even though the Tudor Black Bay Chrono M79360N does not have the same dial configuration as the Paul Newman Daytona, in my opinion, it is just as beautiful. The dial contrast, the added practicality of a date function, the flawless build quality and authentic heritage of Tudor (Rolex’s sister brand). Plus the tactile feeling when you use the chronograph function is just perfect. Or so I thought..Tudor Black Bay Chrono

After wearing the watch for quite some time, I noticed that the watch does not really sit well on my 16cm wrist. The size and thickness of the watch make the wearing experience a little bit uncomfortable and top heavy in my opinion. Not to forget that the bracelet also lacks a micro or on the fly adjustment. Don’t get me wrong, it doesn’t take anything from the watch, it is still an awesome watch, if you have got the wrist for it! (I wish I did).

If you are in the market for a great panda dial chronograph, I would totally recommend the Tudor Black Bay Chrono M79360N. BUT……. consider trying it out first to see how it fits and feels on your wrist. It definitely is a very handsome and practical watch!Tudor Black Bay Chrono
